Weddings are one of the most important days of your life. Photography has the ability to be much more than just a record of the day, the people, the smiles, and details. They are each a captured moment in time, able to transport you back to your wedding.

I take very seriously my job as official image creator of the day. Weddings only come once and the way they are captured will stay with you for a lifetime. Choosing a professional wedding photographer is the best way to ensure you get photos that represent you and that capture your special day.

I work full time as a professional photographer. Photography is my lifeblood. It’s what gets me out of bed in the morning and what has brought me to the corners of the earth. I studied fine art at Skidmore College and the Glasgow School of Art and have known that art would be my path since I was young. I have dedicated my life to creating beautiful images of whatever is in my frame.

Approaching weddings from a documentary point of view, I make a point of not over-directing a wedding. A wedding is first and foremost a traditional ceremony that couples have gone through for thousands of years. I fit into this experience as one part of the whole. I always dress and act professionally, most often wearing a suit, tie, and a smile.

I have heard the horror stories about photographers turning a wedding into their own show, micro managing poses, taking months to deliver, and turning a wonderful day into a chore of never-ending and poorly executed photos. That is not me. A decade of documenting weddings has clarified what I've always known; weddings are a time of joy, photos are a major part of that day, but not the only part. I quickly and efficiently capture moments as they happen, real life interactions that carry their meaning with them, not a staged recreation.

Time and again couples tell me how many moments I captured that they were unaware of. I follow the action where it leads me, unobtrusively documenting the day.
